I remember I said to my friend that Sanur was great for old persons, such as our grandparents. The area is so calm and everything goes slow with not too many crowd and entertainment. That was one year ago. After visiting Sanur and staying for about 3 nights in a nice Sanur hotel called Parigata and enjoy a special package that also took me to roam Ubud area, Batu Bulan, Sukawati, and other neighboring areas. It was such a great experience. Now my view point has changed, Sanur for me is lovely and calming. But also the foods were great the beach was fascinating. Read the rest of this entry »

Villas in Bali bring story. Why? Our group rented Villa Ranadi, one of the best complex villas in Bali, if not in Seminyak. We were four and stayed at two-bedroom villa. The villa was enticing us to enjoy laid-back atmosphere during our stay. The staffs were extremely nice and friendly. We enjoyed cooking our own meals, we prepared our own sandwiches and French-fries… Also we bought many ice creams from the stylish grocery shop called Bali Deli. We leisurely walked to the beach to play with the surf boards and enjoyed foot reflexology on the beach. A woman did something to my hair it was call Kepang and I loved it a lot. Fancy yourself as a movie star who wants to be incognito in Bali? Then, Seminyak luxury villas are the place for you. I have been at Ranadi Villa in Seminyak, which is renowned for its slogan “Simply Luxury”. I think the villa suits the requirements set by the modern astute travelers. I was welcomed by the warm smiles of the reservation staff. I was attentively asked about the meals that I’d like to savor for the first morning breakfast. The villa offered free shuttle to Kuta area three times a day. So whenever I wanted to go shopping in Discovery Shopping Mall, the driver always accompanied me. If compared to other Seminyak luxury villas, I could say Ranadi Villa was different. The opulent surrounding was combined by the old Javanese touch. I saw a daybed brought from Jepara City-West Java, a place where the antique wooden furniture was originally made. Also, the colonial style appeared in the lobby and lounge area. When I tasted the meals on the restaurant, I enjoyed them so much. My experience at Ranadi Villa was surely priceless.

We are going on the extreme getaway of a lifetime this summer and I can’t wait. My husband and I have decided to rent a Bali Villa and spend a week bathing in the Bali sun. We have already booked a tour and a para sailing session. We know that we are going to have a blast in Bali and just can’t wait until our plane takes off. We haven’t been on a vacation alone together since our honeymoon five years ago so this is very much needed. We are leaving in three months and I am counting down the days.
